Senior Subcontract Administrator/Subcontracts Manager

Job Description

ATA is seeking a Senior Subcontract Administrator/Subcontracts Manager who will become a part of a dynamic Corporate Contracts team.

Essential Functions: 

  • - Craft and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to potential suppliers, services or equipment
     
      that support the company’s business efforts

  • - Responsible for the entire lifecycle of the subcontract including; defining the requirements,
     
      researching opportunities, soliciting sources, selecting sources, negotiating with sources, writing
     
      subcontracts, awarding subcontracts, and closing subcontracts when the subcontracts are
     
      completed

  • - Ensure that the subcontract complies with any applicable regulations as well as company polices

  • - Mindful of business goals and negotiating the best prices for products and services while
     
      mitigating and monitoring any associated risks

  • - Solicit bids and proposals from existing sources and new sources

  • - Evaluate and negotiate terms and award subcontracts

  • - Responsible for monitoring the performance of the subcontract; including subcontractors
     
      deliverables, invoices and payments, change orders, modifications or disputes

  • - Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience: 

  • - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance

  • - Bachelor’s degree in associated field or equitable experience

  • - 10 years of experience in Government contracting

  • - Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, particularity provisions of the Federal Acquisition
     
      Regulation and Defense Acquisitions Regulation is required

  • - Proficiency with business software programs and automated accounting systems

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • - Deltek GCS Premier experience

  • - Experience in advanced processing applications and techniques is highly desired.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are nominally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 

Travel: 

Travel is primarily local during the business day.
