Remote Sensing Analyst

Job Description

ATA is seeking applicants to serve as a remote sensing analyst in the Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Sensor Program.

Essential Functions: 

  • - Data interpretation

  • - Support for R&D efforts

  • - Collaboration with Naval and Joint commands on problems of current interest

  • - Identifying solutions in response to technical requests for information

  • - All-source data mining

  • - Coordinating field trial requirements

  • - Data management

  • - Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience: 

  • - Current U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance

  • - Bachelor’s degree in associated field or equitable experience

  • - Five (5) years of experience in Geospatial-Intelligence (GEOINT) processing and analysis

  • - Must have strong knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) remote sensing system
      capabilities and associated exploitation tools

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • - Graduate degree in associated field or equitable experience

  • - Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance

  • - Experience in advanced processing applications and techniques is highly desired.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are nominally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Travel is primarily local during the business day, though some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
