Job Description

The engineer will serve as an optical simulation engineer in support of advanced optical propagation research for military applications. The engineer will be an integral member of a joint Government and contractor team that operates in a very dynamic research environment. The duties will include writing code in MATLAB to simulate optical propagation through atmospheric turbulence. The engineer will work with senior scientists and engineers to develop state-of-the-art computer and laboratory simulations of laser propagation, imaging, and tracking systems. Duties will also include conducting tests and analyzing test data to characterize the performance of the simulations with the data from laboratory experiments.
