Systems Network Administrator

Job Description

The position is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting a company’s computer system. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to interact with software developers and engineers to ensure fulfillment of all customer requirements.

The Systems Network Administrator must have the ability to coordinate and manage all aspects of building a server, identifying and verifying all equipment required to meet specifications.

Duties: 

  • - Install and support Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, network segments, and
     
      internet and intranet systems

  • - Install and maintain network hardware and software

  • - Analyze and isolate issues

  • - Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users

  • - Evaluate and modify system’s performance

  • - Troubleshoot and maintain network printers and any other type of computer devices

  • - Perform backup and restoration procedures as part of security and recovery plan

  • - Perform other duties as assigned

Required: 

  • - Bachelor’s degree and five years of Information Technology experience

  • - Must be a U.S. Citizen, and able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance

Preferred: 

  • - Degree in Information Technology and five years of related experience

  • - Security Clearance – TS Preferred
